My son and I are planning a return visit to the Salt again this year - saw it for the first time at the 2011 Speedweek in August. Just curious if anyone on here is planning to be running there this year. (and do you need any additional crew members?)

My health will not allow me to make the trip to the salt, but I did set a landspeed record at the Maxton Monster Mile in last Oct. in class A/PP. I am now preparing my truck to run at the Ohio mile in April, 1.8 to 1 roller rockers with bee hive valve springs and heavy wall 3/8" push rods, an HP tuneup on a chassi dyno, and remote control electric cutouts. I am going to set a landspeed record in class C/PP and then if all goes well move up to B/PP and then A/PP and I might set three records! Wouldn't be bad for having a severe heart attack followed within three weeks by three strokes, could not sit up, see, talk, did not even know who my wife of 42 years was nor my two grown daughters or grand children. I got out of a wheelchair one year ago last month to a walker to my walking stick last July. Iwill have to use the walking stick forever but I am doing great, just have a lot of pain from Parkinson's disease and rheumatoid arthritus.
