anyone have any info on these mahle sbc pistons

i got my motor back from the machine shop the other day and the part number for the pistons are a mahle hypertectic 599911cwr and im trying to find the specs on them like compression level with what cc head and such to see what head gaskets i should put on my motor but i cant find any info on those just that northern auto parts sells them any help would be greatly appreciated

included with my motor was a fel pro 260-1000 gasket set but i cant find the specs on how thick the head gasket is on that particular set i told the machine shop i wanted around 10-1 compression but i just want to double check to make sure for myself all this stuff

Hmm, the Mahle site search for that number comes up empty. Any chance the number is wrong?

They could be old stock and discontinued too.

I just googled the part number and found this look at the optional pistons. They are $20 extra.

You need to measure the piston deck clearance with the piston at TDC to be able to calculate the actual compression ratio of you motor with a particular cylinder head and gasket.
Once you have determined this spec (it will vary from .045" to 0") you have to measure) , and the bore size you can calculate the cr using any number of online java cr calcs.
The piston valve relief volume is 5cc to 6cc
a typical felpro gasket is 4.166" x.040"

eg: a +.030 350 with flat tops and a "0 piston deck clearance" and a .040" felpro gasket and a 64cc head will have a 10.33:1 cr

There was a thread a few months back regarding Mahle hyper. pistons. It was started from one of our fellow rodders in South America. I think his name is Caldrone or Caledone. Do a search.

Here it is, don't know if it helps any.
