Anyone have experience in dying crushed velvet seats?

Ruby's seat WAS red, crushed velvet, diamond pleat but over the years the sun has bleached it to a pale pink.
I want to restore it back to a nice regal red as it was originally.

Anyone ever tried this?

It can be successful as long as you're not trying to completely change the color. As long as you want to keep it the same color, you're O.K. SEM products have a product to do this called Color Coat which is available in aerosols and bulk containers. Check out this link: Color Coat Chip Card
