Anyone Have A 1940 Ford Pick Up?

I recently bought a 1940 Ford Pick street rod project which has the suspension set up, it's chopped and solid piece to work with. I bought the truck off of a guy who did not have the title and at some point the VIN number was destroyed when some knuckle head boxed the frame. So, I do not have a clue how this can be dealt with the DMV in California!

Ford serial numbers were stamped in three locations on your frame. I doubt if all of them are missing. The Knowledge Base has a link to a serial number page with a diagram of where the nos. are located.
