The newer Vintage Air all electronic units have a motor operated heater control valve. I do not know the voltage because it plugs into the electronic control module. I thought I had a bad one so I ordered a new one and figured out what was wrong with mine before it came in. So now I have a spare. Cost me about $60 I think.
Or you could use an industrial solenoid valve, just look up Asco. In spite of what the web page says the solenoid valves are available with 12 volt coils. Vince |
