1946-48 Ford, but the fender behind the wheel looks a bit long so it may be a Mercury. As I remember the wheelbase is a bit longer on the Merc and that is where it shows. But it's one or the other 46-48 Ford or Merc.

The only things that would tell you if it was a 46-47 or 48 are gone because it's a radical custom. The photo below is what it started out as. Unless of course they cut a roof off a coupe.

There were 3 different caps for the 59 lancer ,stansard ,custom,and lancer custom royal,id by checks and stripes in center also had two different spinners ,I don't know the difference.here are a couple examples.

Nope, the one on that great Ford custom is still a aftermarket. Dodge put a emblem of some kind in the center. Those on the Ford are crossed bars. They are Lancer style aftermarkets.
Here's a original 1957 Lancer w/c.
Here's Classy Chevy USA aftermarket.
Here's the one one the Ford.

All Different.
I like the one on the Custom best.
