Just to eliminate the washer as the culprit. Same principle as checking the fuse first before ripping all the wiring out.

I don't understand what I will find, the washer pumps water out and will fill a bucket RIGHT NOW I presume. Unless I had a time frame or amount of water it use to pump I have no idea what I am seeing now is normal or not.

Brian if the bucket fills you've eliminated the washing machine. That's not where the clog is. On to the roof!

Well, I got a 75 foot snake from the rental place. My son and I went up on the roof and fed 70 feet of it down the vent. I have to say that is a wrestling match if I ever saw one! Getting it thru all the twists and turns, what a job. Anyway, came down and put a load in the wash on the highest water setting and it worked like a charm! WHOOO HOOOOO Thanks for all your support and ideas guys.
