Anyone know what this is?

I found this laying on my valley pan ---anyone know what it is or where it may have came from?

Some size scale would be nice...maybe the internals to a PCV valve?? How stiff is the spring??

Choke lever detent & spring
97 and 81 models have this small pin which presses against the choke lever to provide a positive stop when the choke is off. 48 and 40 models don't use one. Comes with a new spring – all stainless steel.

Could it be the pressure spring out of the oil pump.
