I live in So.Cal and have been unable to find a nailhead anywhere ive called local junk and salvage yards and they just laugh when i tell them what i am lookig for!!! any help wold be gratly appreciated
E-Bay has been running a lot of nailhead stuff lately, i work in FLINT (Buick City), can't even find them here, back in the sixties and seventies they had them stacked like cordwood at all the bone yards, must have all been remade into vegas and chevettes.
We have three, a 64 from a special and a 65 from a skylark that came out of a running wrecked car. My son has one. But We are in Ohio. How would you get it home? These are all complete engines with the two speed trans. The 64 is froze up from sitting and improper lube before storage. Wish you were closer. My son is looking for a 455 to replace the one in his running 64 special.
