the guy who was going to come over last weekend to change rears couldn't make it and he couldn't make it this weekend either. I'm going to continue doing other things like taking the frame to get sandblasted, working on the cab, clean and paint the engine, etc. when the time comes to decide if I replace the rear or keep the Ford rear then I'll make the call. Here are the pros and cons of replacing with the T/A rear:
PROS-
-disc brakes in rear
-emergency brake system
-all 4 wheels would be same bolt pattern (currently GM front and Ford rear) so they'd be interchangeable if needed. Of course if I have wider in back it's not a big deal anyway since i won't mount them in front anyway.
CONS-
-still waiting for the guy who knows how to do it
-need to change the master cylinder and proportioning valve
