So I'm taking all the accessories off the engine to clean and paint everything. Here's an example of the steering pump bracket before sandblasting, after, and painted.
My doubt now is that when I took the starter off it had 4 thin aluminum shims. Is starter shimming normal or is it due to something I should be aware of?
