Anyone try vortex pass thru sockets?

they look like they work really good. Just would like to hear from others who have tried them before blowing money on them. Gear ratchet makes them.

I have an old Stanley set like that. I've only used them once. No complaints.

Well, kind of. I have way more ratchets than I need, and the Stanley just sits there mainly because when I need a really long socket I forget that I have the set and fight with a box end wrench. So now after this I will use it more!

hahahaha. I imagined it being so revolutionary I'd never use my old set again, but I don't have many ratchets and since you forgot about them they must not be that cool. On the Sears website I read some reviews saying they "feel" they're not as sturdy but most of the people thought they were worth it. Might just pick em up for the heck of it.
