Lizard Skin

Hello
Although I did not get my car done in time to be out this summer, I was able to spray the interior in Lizard Skin at the end of the season
I have only heard good things about the product and the customer support was a very pleasant thing (last minute questions)
It is not that expensive to me on the overall cost of me car, when it will do so much for comfort in the end
take care
Tom

price dynamat to do a complete car. it will cost twice and do half the job. i use lizardskin on every build. i do inside of doors , under the dash and cowl area, roof, trunk ,everywhere. i use on average 4gals. less than 400 bucks. i only use 1 coat od sound control so a tub lasts a while. i have never heard a complaint about it. beats bubble wrap

No you do not, go to Harbor Freight and get an under coating gun (that is all it is) , or if you have one of the siphon feed sand blasting gun they work great also.

I used the lizard on a 36 chev sedan,, used the thermal on the bottom side and the sound on the inside,, that way the heat is stopped before it can be absorbed to the floorboards,, solid as a rock,, can't beat it,, I used the gun that that kizard skin sells [ was loaned by the shop I bought the material from] and it puts it on in a small texture finish,, looks much better than undercoat,, and is paintable,, I'm like shine ,, I wiil never use any thing else,, Bill

just purchased lizardskin ceramic

i got 4 gallons with a deluxe spray kit for $325.00 with free ups! from e-bay. lizardskin recomended this guy to me. he is out of Hardy, Az. just go to ebay and search lizardskin. i can't see trying some home made stuff, i got 10 years and thousands(or so it seems) of hours into my 50 chevy fleetline. to skimp on it now, would be a shame. i read nothing but great things about this product. and i'm sure it will work fine. i prices it everywhere i could and this guy was the least expensive i found. not everybody sells the 4 gallon kit w/ spraygun, and factoring in shipping. i did the math and this is it! i have his number but pm me if you want it!

MIght not be a bad idea,, run a ad in the local paper, craigs list Etc, just a couple of jobs would pay for your material and gun,,
Depending to the type of car you are shooting,,,I would think a 2Hun $ bill would be fair,, lots of masking and consumable materals will be used, even buy the lizard skin from the E/bay guy and pop a profit on it,, you said the freight was included,,

it is alot of work tho and NASTY prepare to have freckles for awhile
