Anyway to tell if my new 727 has a manual valve body & shift kit?

I just grabbed an early 70's 727 TF for my hot rod project. It was one of those "handed down" from a drag buddy to a drag buddy who decided to off it. The dude thinks it had a manual valve body and probably shift kit but wasn't sure. Its been sitting for 2 years. The clues support the manual body, it has no kick down lever attached (easily unbolted) and the old kick down linkage mount towers have been cut off (of course you can run a cable and not need use the old linkage). When I drop the pan is there a way to tell if it has the manual body and if there is a shift kit installed? I will install these parts if they are not already in place. No need to drop dough if I already have them. Hey for $75 its worth sorting out.
Thanks,
Dave
