Post AOD tranny

what year ford automatic overdrive transmission,will bolt right up to my 1970 F-100.im not sure how long my c-4 is.and im gonna bolt it up to a 302 or 351 thanks for any help

AOD's were made from 83-93.I think they are all the same except tail shaft length. I think. Steve

An AOD will bolt up to any windsor block- except the early 5 bolt bellhousing blocks. That being said, make sure you get the correct flexplate. You will need 164 tooth. If its a 351 or a 302 cast before 1982, you will need 28.8 ounce inbalance. If its a 302 from 1982 or later, you will need 50 ounce inbalance.

dont forget to check shift lever being upor down, trucks are down cars are up, can be a problem to change because of the roll pin holding the shift lever in case. good luck.
