Approximatly how much hp do i have?

I just built a 350 for my car and i was wondering if anyone could tell me approximatly how much hp and tq it has. It is a .40 over 350 with 76cc 2.02 1.6 heads, flat top pistons, a 280H magnum cam 280 duration and 480 lift. It has summit timing gears and stock rods and crank, an aluminum edelbrock performer intake, a 650 holley carb and headers.

I have to ask...why is this an important question.

If the car behaves the way you like, what's the difference? You have what you have, you should have selected the parts based on the application, and HP should be the fourth, fifth, tenth consideration.

I'd rather have a car that runs as I want to than to have a HP number.

As a curiosity....COOL! Just don't be disappointed by the number or overly impressed. The thing is you are happy with how it runs.

Let us know what it is and how the curve looks.

You could take it to a chassis dyno and find out exactly what's going to the rear wheels...or take it to a drag strip and so long as you have traction off the line, the numbers can be imputed into a calculator and that will get you very close.

I would guess 320hp and 330ftlbs.

You don't have enough compression for that cam. At best you have 8.6:1 cr and maybe as low as 8.2:1 (depending on which flat tops and what the deck height is).

You really should install some 64cc heads. I would guess 375hp/400ftlbs with a set of 64cc vortec heads or a set of 180cc iron eagles. 64cc heads with 6cc flat tops and a -0.020" deck makes 9.75:1, which is perfect for that cam.
