Jon always took care of it each month....I guess he didnt have time this month. I you have an idea for a theme, post something up....I am sure the art guys will add something
I guess until a new prize sponsor, and a person to run the contest to replace Jon is found, there is no official contest. But I'll probably still post some work on the subject, 1955-'57 retrorods. Hopefully, we can still keep it going. I'm pretty sure that the lack of participant entries and viewer votes had a lot to do with the contest ending.
sounds good to me! I just like to draw and post my work! I haven't used my gift card yet from the last time we all won anyway! I will still post my drawings anyway!
Yeah, contest or not, I think everyone still enjoys all our artwork that's put on here, so by all means, post your drawings. Here's my latest 'toon, a '55 Chevy.
I enjoy youse guys artwork. I know it gets a lot of people looking ,but not may people ever take 2 minutes to type a thank you or nice job.Whatever.
Art makes cars cool, therefore car art is cool too.
Life would be pretty dull without it.
Great work Bill .... I was going to start a new thread for the contest, but not sure it makes sense unless someone wants to run it. So, I guess we can use this thread to post 55-57 pieces. I will try to get some up today as well.
It looks almost stock until you stop and look at it ...
Everything, from the chopped top and the smoothed bumpers, to the paint is subtle
The flames are actually reversed: They match the bottom half of the car, while the top half fades away from front to back
I've been having trouble with my video card, and didn't realize how bad that looked until I saw it with the brighter screen this afternoon ain:
Let's try this again, and see if it looks better
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
