Yep, and the longer you wait, the better the pickings will be. The baby boomers (those born after the end of WWII) will be begin dying off and a lot of old iron will be available for purchase from their widows.

If you find something in Wisconsin I would be happy to go look at it for you and take some photos or a video of it. I live 1/2 way between Milwaukee and Madison.

We have a lot of rust here in Wisconsin but many people keep cars inside a garage etc. A person I know who lives in Iowa asked me to look at a 1963 Chevy truck that was in storage for 30+ years. The owner started it every year just to make sure it didn't seize up. When I looked it it I was amazed, it was totally mint. My buddy bought it for $3,100 I think. Deals are everywhere if you just keep looking.

That offer is for anybody else as well. I enjoy a good road trip and checking cars out.

Mike

Hi Mike, this is just in the event you get over in the area south of Park Falls. A fellow named Frank Seelow (715-762-4871) lives on the road between Park Falls and Phillips. I can't seem to bring up a map to see the road number, but it is only a short trip between the two towns and Frank lives in between them on the East side of the road. I stopped in to talk with him after glimpsing some old iron from the road. I have no idea how many cars and trucks he has, maybe 100 or over. There are even some Studebakers left and part of a '40 Ford if I remember correctly. At that time, I was interested in the Willys Jeep pickup and he had a very restorable example there.

Another fellow in the area that you may want to touch base with is Jack Hames (715-769-3993). He is heavily into Model T's.
