Assault heads

Anybody have any experience with these? Seems like a killer price for a pair of complete aluminum heads! Haven't heard of them before...i assume some mild porting and polishing would be in order but....?

Try giving them a call and ask them about flow numbers or country of origin. The thing that I would worry about is if they were some of the early production Chinese heads that had all the problems.

More than likely they are a rendition of the Patriots that KMJ put their own brand on. I've had dealings with KMJ in the past and I would not recommend anything they offer.

KMJ carries a lot of PRO-COMP parts which are Chinese parts, the heads have been improved the valve train parts quality is not the best.Skip White posts here on the forum so you may want to look at these White Performance Detail Description as He upgrades the heads with good USA parts, read the description about the upgrades.

that actually sounds like a really good deal...but the more I think about it I just wouldn't feel right about putting chinese castings in a 63 chev, even with u.s. valvetrain parts! Just wouldn't be right....especially for a Union worker!
