what is your compressor set up? That is something you need to take into consideration when choosing between a hvlp or non hvlp. A non-hvlp will use more air (such as an iwata-W400 or Sata-RP). My pick is the iwata lph400. If you look around enough you can find one at a decent price. I bought one from my previous boss (though it was a w400) for $150. It was only used for a year or 2 (not everyday use). Even if it is out of your price range, it will be worth the extra money..trust me. If you are planning on doing this for a living, you need to make the investment on a top quality gun that will serve you for years to come. I've had my lph400 for over 3 years now and have never looked back.
