ATTN: Anybody from Georgia

Hey guys, I have an opportunity in a few weeks to go to Ft. Stewart, GA with my boss and a few associates. Wondering if anybody lives anywhere close to there and what there is to do around there off of base.

Thanks in advance-
Lindsey

Savannah's about 40-50 miles away depending where you are at the base. They have plenty of bars and stuff to do. Jekyll Island is pretty nice. It's about the same distance.

Other than that there's not much down there aside from sand, snakes and gators.

Savanah

Yeh, Savanah is real nice. From Ft. Stewart you just have to go east to I-95 then go north to I-16 east and it'll take you right into Savanah. Have fun!

I almost forgot. There's a little island near Savannah where some big oil tycoon built a huge estate back in the depression. You can go have a tour of the place if you like that kind of stuff. Lots of old civil war and revolutionary war sites to see too.
