not really a buzzkill u have to rember the top of the line l98 engine would run low low 15's to high 14's with a very good driver. slow by todays standards
the lb9 backed with the 5 speed was just a touch slower then the l98, but it was a whole lot more fun to drive since it was the only way to get a stick behind a decent engine.
only reason the manual equiped cars had more hp was because they had a slightly better cam then the auto equiped cars
that car is really clean and would be worth alot of money if the piant was in great shape, even with a repaint that car will be worth a bunch more then u paid for it.
i would paint it or have it painted and put the correct decal kit back on it, and hold onto it it ill only go up in value as 3rdgen cars that clean are very very hard to come by
i would give up my twin turbo 89 iroc to get a nice iroc that is as clean as the one u got
