Here's what I'll be starting with... its in great shape other than paint, runs great, interior perfect, and all electrical is working.

Very cool. Just saw a 1LE Iroc in mint condition at an auto museum in vegas. They wanted $40k for it. Is yours the 350 tpi with 700r4 or 305 tpi with t-5?

Unfortunately its just the base 305/700r4 model, not rare... but it is a legit IROC (checked the option codes on it), with original paint and original NOSE...lol :thumbup:

Best thing about the car is the interior, it looks about a year old... not 25. Its had a ton of tune-up/ maintenance work done on it recently and runs like silk. I like to buy cars that are original and unmonkeyed with, and this certainly is that.

Guy I bought it from is a full time mechanic and has had 80's Camaros for years... its his thing. I have a real good feeling about the car.

t top=305 untill very late in the 3rd gen..

Don't sweat the auto, you can easily make it a real tire burner. My 305 in my C2500 has a similar combination. It's a factory-rated "235hp" 305 with a 4L60E behind it. 14 bolt SF with Gov-lock and 3.73 final drive. It put a hurt on my buddies 87 Mark VII LSC with the 5.0L HO (not the regular lame 5.0L most Mark VII's came with) all the way up to 60 mph. That's in a 3/4 ton extended cab truck with 31" tires. The strong first gear and steep final drive can easily make these cars little jackrabbit "light-to-light" cars.

what rear you have the 10 bolt or the holden 9 bolt..

If that Q is for me... To be honest, I'm not sure! I believe its the 10 bolt and it has limited slip, but I don't know the ratio. I got down on it a little on the test drive, its not that fast but it will turn the tires over, runs about as good as I would expect a 305 to run, doesnt seem worn out and doesnt smoke.

I pick the car up tomorrow.

the rear gear is mostlikely 3.43 tho could be 3.27iirc
the 9 bolt is stronger ..

Now, my 14 year old girl has seen some pics of what the car will look like with good paint and wants it!! My 20 yo son, who has a 95 Camaro, is getting jealous and trying to pawn his off on her!!! WHAT HAVE I DONE??!! :rolleyes:
