AU or AE?

Whats the difference between the 2 paints? I'm looking to learn something before I shoot for the first time. Simple project flat aluminum like a truck bed, it will be walked on alot.

AU, urethane is just like the clearcoat for base/clear paints.
Urethanes are the toughest paints out there.
Enamels are of the least durable paints and aren't used that much
anymore except where the cheapest of cheap is wanted.
Day and night difference between the two for durability.
