I don't have a problem with it either....although, with multiple entries you are sort of competing against yourself. That might mean some would only enter one image per contest, defeating the idea of more is better.

This is a contest in name only for me .....I really don't care who wins. But gauging by some of the posts from members here, saying what kind of art should be including and what shouldn't, I'm guessing some here worry about winning.

Is the second better then the first?

I am setting along side the road outside of Reno burning the BBQ with fellow Road Warriors watching hot rides pass by. Our road side convoy is getting bigger by the minute . Last year we had 600 rides just kicking it and BBQ"s going beyond believe. So last night had, some camp side s'mores . Number one ,talk about nectar of the Gods. By number four I think The devil was in my gut. Just saying...... Signed Vagabond road artist Lincoln highway Johnny.

I never enter (can't draw), but always try to vote!!

I really like the idea of voting for a specific piece rather than the artist (not that there's anything wrong with that!). There always seems to be one piece that I really like, while not really caring so much for the other pieces by the same artist.

Am I making sense at all this late at night???

I would still like to see us of "The Unwashed Non-Talanted Masses" pick the contest subject for you guys one month!!

Tom

Yes, Tom, it makes sense. Allowing only one entry is one alternative. Although most individual artist's works posted in this contest would be easily recognized without attaching the artist's name, maybe if all the artwork were jumbled together without identifying the artist, then a winner is chosen? Having other than the contest entrants pick a subject isn't a bad idea, either.

Sometimes there are like 300 views of the entries and 9 votes .......where are all the other people who preview the work?

Not sure there is an answer that will appeal to everyone here, but I'm open to any and all ideas. Ultimately, it's Jons decision.

I wouldn't advocate allowing only one entry! There are so darn few of you guys that are willing to share your God-given talent with us, that I would like to see dozens of entries by each of you. It's not like you have anything better to do that sweat and slave for us ungrateful (as evidenced by the number of votes) @ssholes!

Bangkok Taxi

I got a Hoot out of Corvettes elephant. It reminded me of what us teens use to call Saturday Night Auto Supply. Back up to a junk yard and help yourself. of course after hours. It always seemed that the rod was in need of a part when every thing was closed. Remember .. Bring a big piece of meat for the junk yard dog. Most of the yards did not care as long as you payed latter and did not cause fires with the torches. The Bangkok Taxi ...enjoy. Again some nice work coming in this month. I have to get crackin'.

In my original thought, I was not meaning to say the artists could not be identified along with their work, they should be. Nor did I mean you could only submit one entry, on the contrary, the more the merrier. I love to see all the different pieces and styles as it makes me work harder on my own pieces. I was just wondering if the pieces could be listed separately so the rest of us losers can see which piece the adoring public was fawning over.

It also kind of levels the playing field. Example: Artist A submits 3 pieces, each getting two votes. Artist B submits 1 piece that gets 5 votes. Artist A wins by volume (6-5) even though Artist B's single piece was favored over Artist A's individual pieces by a wide margin (5-2).

Again, just tossing this out there...

Here is mine.

Bill, you made me pull out the pens. I thought I had lost my hand, but as I went, it just felt natural again. Let's see what else I can do. I'll try to get another in before deadline.
