August's "Rust Is A Must" Rat Rods Hotrodders Art Contest Begins Now.

A dead heat tie between members 57 Corvette and Doodler allowed both to decide on Augusts Hotrodders art contest "Rat Rods, Rust Is A Must" for this months subject matter.

Many have asked for this and these two fine artists have abliged your wishes for what you would like to see. Thanks to both Doodler and 57 Corvette and members input, this ones gonna be a good one.

Augusts Hotrodders Art Contest is in full motion.

Contest will end on the 27th of August Midnight barring any requests for a days stay at the most, we'd like to see everyone get involved.

Below is a few quick examples I added but feel free to enlighten the artists more with some attchments.

I would also like to mention that this contest is not only limited to graphic illustrations.

Photography, photo manipulations, image program filters, clay models, model cars, images only is all we can do with this contest.

Wow Tyler, again killer sic' stuff, maybe one day you could do a tutorial on some of this stuff for us, like the PEN TOOL at least for me. I like the Stude, sorry Travis.

Yes, but they will most likely be bundled together if this gets too large, the polling at the end only allows 10 entries so if ten enter the contest, images from each with multiples will be added together as one vote.

Someone please up the amount of poll options !!!

No kidding on the tutorial thing, I get so mad not knowing how to work the tools right that I just quit. But some beautiful artwork nonetheless.

Doodler, I use CS3 for fast stuff and PS 8 for all the heavy junk with brushes nd styles and so forth, bith have different methods of using the pen tool, one isn't the same and forget a video tut, I lose my train of though in a few seconds lol but will check it out.
