I do know that you do not have to use heat to cure the auto air paint, it dries by air moving across it. Heat has nothing to do with how well it will bond to the sealer or primer.

If you have a Hobby Lobby close by you can get Ceratex air brush paint that is what the auto air line is based on. Thats if your looking to experiment with it. It's only like 5.99 for a bottle. Picked some up but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Auto Air Paints

Auto Air is a diffrent paint from Createx. it's a water bourne paint. It's a good paint to do artwork with, and you can clear over it. Auto Air does have a Video, out and you can find it on there website. If you want to know anything about that paint, I'd suggest that vid.

now doesnt that make sence if u dont have a $500k auto paint shop bussiness with a dust free high tech $20k paint booth , they want u to dry it with moving air. hair dryer, fan, etc, putting all kinds of what nots in to the base coat. then clear over it. sounds like a plan

The reason for the water based paint though is the fact that the EPA. is stepping in. I may or may not like a water based paint, but depending on the part of the world you live in, you may not have that choice.
