auto gauge wiring question

Ok I'm thinking about buying an autogauge 5in tach with shiftlight its the auto meter series.right now the guy has it hookd up to his msd box. I've never done one of these before will it be hard to install it? .

No, this is not hard. You hook the tack to the out put signal of the msd box.

If your engine has an HEI distributor, you will connect the tach signal wire to the tach output terminal on the distributor. If you have a standard points-style ignition system, you would connect the tach signal wire to the (-) coil terminal.
