Auto Transport Company

Any recommendations for a reasonably priced and good transporter that can haul a street rod from Virginia to Idaho? I have need of an enclosed unit with the hydraulic tailgate. The car sits too low to go up ramps and into the unit. Would appreciate any info regarding delivery, etc...

I used "Curves Ahead Transport" once, nice guy and was very good at letting me know where he was and an ETA on picking up the body I had shipped. Cost me $1,000 from Michigan to Las Vegas. Don't know about reasonable price, these guy's are paying $4 a gallon for diesel and also depends on how many other cars are they have going in the same direction......800) 869-4140, Good luck

Auto Transport

Is this a broker or an owner? Having trouble finding them on the net. I would prefer an owner/operator but it seems that everybody is now a broker.

try randy: 360-661 1734 out of washington state. depends on where he is tho. and he hauls two or three atta time. call and see what he says is all you can do right?

ps he is enclosed. i would NEVER USE AN OPEN CAR TRANSPORTER AGAIN.

Owner/Operator

If you want to use an Owner/Operator you should go over to Jalopy Journal search for "Car Hauling." There are quite a few people on there who can transport a car for you.

I'm considering using a a place called TnT. They have very good customer service.

About 2 years ago I got my car shipped from Texas to New Jersey. This was my first (and the only) time using such a service, and I can say that I all in all it was quite easy and I didn't have any issues with the transportation. I can't remember what the final cost was but it's quite easy to find out this kind of information. You can look for ************ about the whole process.

Do not use Autotrail. Total (dee) had four cars & a harley sent to my new house from Jersey to Florida. Well i told them i will not own the new house till the 23 of sept. kept telling them this. well he wanted to drop them on the 21st. told them i am not in FLA & i have no where to put them as per the contract. So he dropped them over 3 hours away at some yard. .then he cancelled my CC card, Then held them for hostage till i money gramed him cash . Then he told me where they were. .had to pay storage, Then all the gas back and forth . And a tow for my project.
