autolite/motocraft 2100 problems

a buddy of mine has a 76 ford f150 with a 390 and a 2100 carb. we just rebuilt it to try to get it to stop gushing gas but it didnt really help. is the float just bent way down or what?

whenever we have such issues with these motorcraft carbs we just go to autozone etc and buy a new one for 180 bucks

most recently was on the 77 F150 4x4 with a 351 400M 2bbl in it from a car.

it was doing this sort of stuff and not running good

we tried and could not get it to stop this

180 is pretty good for a new one i think.

sold the truck after putting the carb on,
got 5500 out of it.
