Autometer vs Classic vs Speedhut

Just a few questions. I spoke to a local vendor today and he said Autometer is by far the best, and the only guage made in the USA.
The other two mentioned are also apparently made in the USA. A/M and Classic have what I am after, speedo and quad in 3.375" size,Speedhut's smallest quad is 4". I like the options offered by Speedhut, and the GPS speedo sounds great. I have a Magellan hand-held GPS and it never loses it's signal like my sat-radio does.
Has any one had any quality issues with any of these? Customer service issues? Anybody had issues with the GPS speedo in particular.

I don't know were your guy got his information, but Autometer is not made in the U.S. I have the street rod series in my 34 and they are made overseas.

As 302 Z28 stated Autometer is definitely not made in the USA. Classic Instruments is made in the USA but seems a little out dated as far as features and technology.

As for Speedhut, everything is made in Utah. I absolutely love their GPS speedometer. Easy hookup and no calibration needed. Plus a clock, 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile times. Nobody else has that. I haven't had any issues with mine. I have one of their 4" 4-in-1 gauges as well and from what I understand I could have placed any 4 gauges in it however I just opted for their standard oil, water, volts, and fuel. I was told they will be releasing a 3 3/8" version in May along with a 4" 2-in-1 combo that can be anything you want.

NOBLNG, Speedhut's customer service is bar none. All you have to do Google Speedhut to see what people are saying.

I ordered a set of Speedhut guages. A 4" metric speedo and 4" Quad. I did not see a matching 2" tach in the legacy series on the website, but they said they will make one for me. I am very pleased with the service so far. I only have about 2" of depth available, so the GPS speedo fits the bill at only 1.1" deep.
