More info

Where did you get those code #'s is it off the axle tag or from the RPO tag? If you can give me the RPO tag code #'s I may be able to help you. It will be a G-- # that is on the sticker in the glove box there may be more than 1 G-- # so give them all. Also what have you done to your S-10 any performance upgrades? You say it HAD a 2.8 in it, does that mean you have installed a new engine.

Need more code #'s

The GQ1 code, all that GM says about the GQ1 is "Axle, Std Ratio". Is there any other # such as GU4? if there is this I can tell what gear ratio you have.
I also have a 1994 S-10 with a built SBC 350. Just about back together with it, Should be done in a week or two. If you have any questions about your truck let me know.
