axle identification
hello,any one out there who can help me,i have a 57 chevy truck and want to replace the rear axle,have got an axle with cx00471 then a last figure i or 1 on the tube have been told its a camaro but unsure

I can't help, but I would suggest posting this in the Trans/Rear End section. There's got to be someone out there who knows. Good luck. PS: It would probably be helpful to know the axle length and number of splines.
