axle width of ford 8.8

Hi guys help me out if you can . Iam wanting to put the 8.8 under a 55 chevy (stock width 60 inch) I have heard that some 8.8 rears have 31 spline 373 posi. What i need is the out side wheel mounting flange to the out side mounting flange on the 98 and up ranger/MazdaB4000 and 95 and up explorer

There's a guy selling Explorer axles on E-Bay and he says they're 59 1/2" wheel to wheel and the axle mounting pads are on 39" centers.

I attached a pdf of some info that should answer your questions on what is available. It was really handy when I was looking for my 8.8. I also looked up my notes from when I was measuring rear ends. My notes are showing 58.8" for a 95 exploder. Hope this helps.
