b-body spindles on g-body

will the spindles from a chevy caprice(b-body) fit the balljoints of the g-body cars or an s10? im thinking of doing this swap to get the 12 inch brakes. i hear of this swap but im not sure about the balljoints being the same.

Yes, the ball joints are the same. I'm sure you know that you need to use the Camaro 1LE rotors if you want to keep your 5 x 4.75" bolt circle.

Be careful, there are two different B-body lower ball joints depending on HD or non-HD.

There is also a difference in the spindle's geometry, so many times the upper control arms from the G-body are too long. Some guys just use a ton of spacers on the upper control arm to get the proper camber, but it doesn't take full advantage of the B-body's taller spindle.

Lots of tech available on this with a good google search.
