I bought a truck Megashifter to put in my 81 Chevy 1/2 ton short-wide. I have a console from an 84 Z28 that I am modifying to fit my truck though and will use the Megashifter in it. I used the truck version because the TH350 in my truck is rod actuated, not cable like a Camaro, and comes with the proper parts to put the Megashifter in.
Anyway, what is the big deal about shifting from R to N/D? Is it the pull lever that is a pain?
