B&M Shift Kit

I took the valve body off of a TH350 trans that has a full manual kit of some sort installed, perhaps B&M. There is a bunch of washers on the servo piston, and the over run band cannot apply. Is this the reason for the washers? Can I remove the washers and get engine braking in 2nd again? Has anyone installe one of these kits and still have the instruction sheet? I cannot see any other purpose for these washers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If the seperator plate has the transfer plate attached to it then it is probably a trans -go kit. As far as i know the trans-go kits are the only ones that use the washers under that servo....

i think i have a set of instructions for it if you can get the part number off of the transfer plate to confirm..
