b&m shift kit help on installation

i have a shift kit for th350 . it says to put two balls in location ''a''. but i tryed and they both cant fit in the same hole. am i reading the directions right or is something wrong. i already drilled the holes in the plate for the street/stip set up. what will happen if i remove all the check balls ?
and is thier aweb site or some one who knows how to do tricks or stuff to make it appy more pressure to the clucth so it slips less.
i am 17 years old and i pretty much know about the rest of the car but the tranny is more diffulcult i am going to a auto tech school and i want to be on top of my game. so i will be the best in the class and have most opputunity to get a intern ship from this . so any help about trannys will greatly be appciated. thanks

The only checkball needed for the trans to function without hydraulic (pressure) problems is the ball next to, or near the modulator valve. There is a ball location near the shifter side of the case that is a good idea to put in place as it will reduce the abruptness of reverse engagement. Most street/strip kits make these recommendations......
