Post B&M shifter question

I have a b&m quicksilver shifter. I bought it off a friend so i don't have the instructions or extra brackets. Im wondering how to set it up for a 4 speed 700r4 because right now it is set up for a 3 speed th350. Thanks for all the help. Also are there any major complications when exchanging a th350 for a 700r4 in a 69 firebird or camaro? thanks for all the help.
I have a 2100 stall for a th350 and a holley 650 for sale. email me if you are interested. Ill take 50 bucks a piece, both are working just fine.

Good question. I had to change the shifter gate plate on the side of the shifter to change it to a reverse shift pattern.I think you need to call B&M's tech line and they will give you a part number for the new shift gate if available. If I remember right a B&M Quicksilver shifter won't work on a 700r4.

Wink

Actually its not a dumb question, most guys I know don't know how to do it and B&M themselves had trouble explaining it. And if you can't tell the difference in a 650 and a quadrajet then i wonder who is dumber here?

geez man I'm sorry i misread your post. I thought you were calling my post dumb and then asking me a question. Sorry, misinterpretaion. But the answer to your question is that your quadra jet should be better than my 650 as long as yours in running right. Sorry again.
