There is also a Honda plant in Alabama and Canada...
The article above mentioned that there were very few "Japanese" plants in the US as opposed to the "Domestics"
Here is a break down of my employers automobiles/factories
Marysville,Ohio Auto Plant- 2door Accords
4door Accords
4door Acura TL(all models)
Also soon to be built SUV

East Liberty,Ohio Auto Plant- 2door Civic
4door Civic
Element
CRV
Accord (when extra production is needed)

Canada Auto Plant- Ridgeline Pickup
Acura SUV
Honda Pilot
Civic SI (3 door)

Alabama Auto Plant- Odyssey Minivan

There a couple of Hondas made in Japan still... Acura RL, Acura ,RSX,TSX,NSX and Honda S2000.

Now if you want to go into details about riding the "Made in USA" card... 95% of the parts that go into any Honda are made right in the USA...Honda has over 600 suppliers in the US alone. 80% of those parts come from Ohio. There isn't thousands of Japanese people building these vehicles... They are Good Ol' Americans, just like you and I. I was hired by an American, Trained by an American and handed my paycheck by an American. My work uniforms are made in America, by Americans, with American materials. AND...before you ask, YES my paycheck is printed and delivered right from the front office of the Honda in AMERICA. It is printed on American paper and made in Ohio and handled by an American company(also in Ohio) ADP. And before you say anything about "well the money all goes back to Japan" you are wrong again, and if you care to prove my bank account and semi-yearly bonuses wrong, go right ahead.

Now can someone PLEASE explain to me why Hondas are considered an IMPORT?
Later,
WEIMER

What's your point? I can make a shopping cart run 9's if I wanted to.

One of my friends got robbed, so I'm in a bad mood

What is with people and saying 'not bad for a 4 cylinder'? Turbos are magical things practically, and its not a big deal. V8's aren't the end all, and in case everyone forgot, the first rods ran flathead 4s.

Nice car btw
