Post bad exaust smell

i have a 351windsor bored 30 over, mild comp cam with 480 lift, weiand stealth intake rpm idle to 7000 and an edelbrock 600 manual choke carburetor my exaust smell is mean my engine was just over hauled 2 days ago very fresh block all parts new besides the crank, rods and block. every thing else is summit racing bought but cant figure the smell if any buddy can help me thank you very much

Well when an engine is first ran it has alot of oil to burn which can lead to a pretty strong and foul oder or perfume to some but if you are runnig headers make sure the collector gasket is not leakin because fumes will come right up through the shifter housing into the cab of your ride. Look to see if any gas fumes are coming from around the shifter i have had a similar problem many times.
