Bad Tranny
hey im a new member and am having transmission troubles with my 78chevy 4x4 which i recently put a new rearend in. it all started on a hill at a stoplight, since it has such a low idle in the drive gear i must put it in nuetral once ive made a full stop to keep it from stalling. i put it back in drive but it did not catch right and mustve destroyed something with the gear selector because now it only stays in drive, itll act like its going through the gears cuz u can feel the selector bump past them but everytime its still in drive, even when i start it up. im not a mechanic but canlearn pretty quick on what to do, please reply to this post with any questions or comments towards solving this problem. it will be greatly appreciated.
