Bad Weather Everywhere?
I haven't been around that long but is it me or is the weather all over the United States much worse than it normally is? Someplace is always being torn apart by tornado's, flooding, hail. Even where I live, it's usually nice in spring early summer. But this year it seems like we went from winter to hot summer and were having severe thunderstorms and tornado watches/warnings almost daily.
No damage to the property or cars yet thankfully. Mike |

All you guys in the US are going to have to move out of those trailer parks that you live in.....cus you know that those tornados seek those places out..............just a fact of nature.

oh be quite lluciano, and everyone else from California. Every time I turn the weather channel on you guys don't have any orange or red across your entire state. Me, I got to run out side in the lighting and pouring rain and put the caprice in the back yard so the predicted 60mph winds don't blow down one of pine trees along the drive way onto my car. Then I get to cover it so the possible hail doesn't damage anything. I need my own garage!

We use our garages to keep out cars from getting sunburned.

Yes, I think it is getting worse year by year.
It never use to be humid here in VA when I was a kid and growing up till about 12-13. Then it started getting hotter each year and more and more humid. The winters also have gotten MUCH shorter here. I remember every year it would snow like mad. One year when I was about 12 or so it was so cold that we were taking buckets of water and throwing it up in the air and watching it freeze. It was only something like -20 deg F, but the wind chill was something like -40. Now it almost never snows here, for about the past... oooo.. 6 years or so. We had a snow storm a few years back that they called a "blizzard" RIGHT! A week of snow flurries, and a few big snows, but it was NO blizzard! The snow also did'nt last more than a few weeks. This past winter it was OK, but really warm and a few 70 deg days... in the WINTER. Little indian summer there I guess. The sun never seems to shine here anymore either. Only real sunshine is during the fall, spring, or winter months. Summer is always filled with so much cloud cover and smog that you never really see the sun except for after a rain. Seems to rain evey damn day! Even today, heavy rains and lost power for a few hours. The one thing that needs to go is the freaking rain! Rain everyday. Ground warms up, heat index gets over 90, gets humid and then rains in the afternoon. Almost everyday. |
