Bagging a 58 Ford??

Got a question here hopefully someone can answer. I've got a 58 Edsel that I want put airbags on. For all purposes here, it's the same chassis as a 58 Ford. Anyways, I wanted to do the Air Ride bags, and I notice they only have a kit for 53-57 Fords. I'm a little puzzled by this. I thought the chassis was updated in 57, and stayed the same till at least 59? Is there are reason why they stop at 57, maybe they've never physically installed a set on a 58? Thanks in advance, Josh.

First, there were two different 1958 EDSELS, the RANGER and PACER which were built on the FORD platform and the CITATION and CORSAIR which were built on the MERCURY platform.

The 54/56 front suspension was the same and the 57/58 was the same other than the steering box. The 59 was extended in WB but still had the same suspension.

Well I knew the difference, and I knew most people wouldn't know what a Corsair was, so that's why I mentioned the Ford chassis. I've got 4 Edsels, I know the difference.
