Ball joints failing???

Anyone on here ever have any problems with ball joints failing?
I've replaced mine twice and it's squeaking again after only 4 weeks.
I can't seem to get one to last, I used the proper tool to install them just
to make sure I wasn't damageing it during installation.
Rented it from the parts store along with the right adaptors.
I suspect they may be cheap Chineese ones, I also got them at different stores. It's a Honda civic and the originals had over 130k on them and
were just a little loose. They do seem real tight when pressing in,
maybe I shoud sand the knuckle a little to make the fit easier?
I just don't understand it failing again.
Thanks for any ideas

Had a Ford Tempo (1992) for the last few years that went through ball joints...put 3 in right side in 5 years......The other side was fine. Like you said, I blame the quality of the parts.

What brand are you using. Could be bad manufacturing or poor installation procedures. It is real easy to ruin one if you dont install it properly.
I do not recommend enlarging the hole, you are asking for trouble

ditto on the What brand ??, never modify a part to make it fit your only asking for problems , with ball joints I always buy a major name and never a box store brand ( crapozone) . or like certain Items I found with Fords only getting the part from the dealer in a Ford box will do ( had problems with balljoints/ for a 96 F-350 4X4 with HD suspension and only the Ford ones worked right even had problems with Moogs )

Thanks, I kind of think it's the part, but no one else seems to be
having the problem. I wonder if I should be adding more grease
before installing the boot, there's not much in there from the mfg.
and no grease fitting to add it later.
I was reluctant to do it because I've been told certain greases
are incompatible.

Loading grease into the boot will do nothing. The grease needs to be in the joint. All the quality aftermarket parts will have a grease fitting.
Personally I like Moog front end parts. They have been quality parts for years.

Well, I went and got a Moog ball joint and put that in this morning.
It didn't have a grease fitting either.
So I'll see how this one does.
The guy at the store gave me credit for the old one, and said they
do get returns on them, but not on the Moog brand, so I
gladly paid the difference.
