Bangin' on old cars since 1957

Just can't get enough small block Chevy fun. Rented a old stage coach house on Capitol Hill here in Washington DC in 1957. CHEVY SPECIALTIES was born.
$50 labor to install a 265 Chevy in your '48 Ford coupe. Dude with a dump truck robbed me in 1963. So we built a home on 1/2" acre in 1964. Back to it.
Street raced from '57 to '63. Strip from '63 to '69 when I was told the new '67 Camaro SS/RS/350 could no longer do Super Stock. Had to run this new crap called "brackets". Had to hit the brakes to win, duuh ??
So keep on bangin' on Street Rods.....Street Rod Works was born.
The rest is history. Life is good cruizin' in old cars. Check my wrist, GREASE IN THE BLOOD !!
