With all the nice warm dry weather we've been having, I got the hungries for some grilled "Dawgs" so yesterday I picked up all the fixins and fired up the pit this morning.
I grilled the Oscar Myer's until they were sweating and had plenty of grill marks all
the way around. Spread some butter inside the buns and then laid them on the grill
for a few minutes.
Then I got me a plate and put 2 open faced buns on it and started creating.
First thing was some brown mustard, then came a thin layer of Claussens' sauerkraut,
a layer of chopped roasted jalapenos and onions, weiners, Wolf Brand chili and
grated colby jack cheese.
I had every intention of putting 3 or 4 away but after Two
I decided to stop. There's no doubt what I'll have for supper tonight !
