If these are in the Cartersville area they may be part of the same collection my 53 came from.

No the Cartersville collection I think was George or Forrest Swaptshire collection,

If they were 2 brothers that passed away a while back that sounds right. I bought the Chevy from the guy who bought it down there so all of what little I know is second hand. Can you tell more about it/them?

George owmed a paving company and his brother Forrest owned a Large dairy farm he held a Bonnivle Salt Flat record in a 56 Corvette Fulie he bought off the showroom floor drove it to Bonnivle set a record and drove it back ,as far as I know it still stands and his family still owns it,
He also owned the (milk wagon ) a gold 55 chevy wagon Drag car also a record holder

That is very interesting. Am I correct that they have both passed?

Based on the vent window, outside hood hinges and the fender guard I suspect it is a 54 Chevy COE or at least that series.

I think 48-53 ,the 54 had a different grill or at least in the pu, but it does not show the grille so you are Correct ,Very good ,the Rag top is a OLDS
It has a lot of rust around grill but there is a 4 dr there also for parts mbut it is a very good car
