Barnfind 1971 Cuda Convertible Big Block!! 1 of ???
 

We moved this car for my buddy today. 1971 Cuda Convertible Special Order. Been sitting since 1980 DUE TO FAILED BRAKE LINE! Hasn't seen daylight since parked. His parents bought the car NEW! So I would assume he has ALL the paperwork since new. Never been touched. Only 33,961.7 miles. 383, all white. Believed to be 1 of 347? Of those built 128 were 383 cars. Of those 128, 87 were equipped with the Automatic Transmission, most of which were on the column, NOT the floor shift with console like this one! There were another 31 Cuda Convertibles that were built for sale in Canada, for a total of 159 cars. So this would make this one 1 of 87. Then if you reallllly wanted to get in to the one of numbers with other options. It could be 1 of 5-10?? Im not sure about all the options yet. I know its not a Dana 60, no shaker hood, All white, had hubcaps on it. Had to take them off to get it to roll. No billboards, wood grain wheel, manual windows, not sure about the top or seats. Original motor and trans. So this car is one of the REAL DEAL BS27N1B cars. Either way SUPER RARE AND COOL CAR!! No restoration is planned. Plans are ALL the necessary essentials and DROP THE TOP AND DRIVE IT LIKE IT IS.

They have a presence to them. Beautiful vehicle.

When you see your german buddie's 928 next time hang a huge rubber band on his antennae.
Tell him it's a VW rebuild kit for the motor!!!

Siggy is a retired machinist(German machinist)He dresses in suits at parties and he is a gentleman. Soooo,of course over the years we have tortured the poor fella.One of the younger fellas in the shop machined a stainless license plate frame and decorated it with "rainbows",Siggy had absolutely no clue as to the meaning of the rainbow and proudly kept that present on his car for over a year before the crew had to tell him why so many fellas were being friendly to him.
so many stories I could write a book.I dont remember him ever laughing at any jokes played on him,,,,
maybe if I made a rainbow of elastic bands?

That is one cool car. Lucky guy.
