Is it really that big of a deal for just doing a hood? Just brush the base over the primer spots for a bit then one big coat. Then mist some clear on there, then put one big coat on then done. All with 5 minutes rest time in between coats. (might do more coats if I have to but my gun seems to lay it down sufficiently like that)

Is this really as crazy as you think it is? One panel a day for maybe 3 days at a time, maybe once a month.

One window for intake with a filter and one with charcoal filters for exhaust will be perfect.

What kind of fan do you own that doesn't create sparks for the exhaust side?

no switches in my booth. outside the door.

keep in mind it is not just the overspray that is dangerous but all the fumes from thinners and such.

What about flourescent light fixtures, like the ones you buy at Lowe's and they plug in to an outlet? Are those considered an explosion danger too?
